Delmont Agronomy

Built in 2006, the A & D Agronomy Plant is located just west of Delmont on Highway 18.  The A & D Plant offers our western-most customers all the amenities of a modern fertlizer facility and chemical/seed warehouse with a convenient location.


Our A & D Agronomy facility offers:

  • Dry fertilizer custom application
  • Dry fertilizer cart rentals
  • Crop Protection products
  • Seed Treatment
  • Crop Scouting
  • Soil Sampling
  • VRT Fertlizer Application


Winter Hours:

8am-5pm Monday through Friday


Summer Hours:

Construction Begins at A&D

Construction of a 100 x 100 feet equipment and seed storage warehouse addition began on September 30, 2013.  The project should be completed sometime this spring.

Meet Our Delmont Agronomy Employees:

Kevin Hanten

Kevin Hanten began his career at Agland Coop in 1978. He was the Location Manager at A&D Fertilizer Plant and is currently the Operations Manager, a position he’s held since 2012. Kevin is married to Barb. They have two children and two grandchildren.

Roger Barrick


Roger Barrick, a Certified Crop Advisor, has been an Agronomy Consultant at Agland Coop since 2011.  Prior to joining the Agland team, he was an Extension Educator and Agronomist for the South Dakota Extension Service.  Roger has a Bachelor of Science Degree from South Dakota State University.  He and his wife Nancy have three daughters and three grandchildren.

David Villmow


David Villmow has worked as an Applicator at A&D Fertilizer Plant since 2011.  He is married to Teresa and have one daughter, Tiffany.

Kyle Sturzenbecher


Kyle Sturzenbecher has worked as an Applicator/Maintenance employee at Agland since 2010.  He has a two-year degree from Vo-Tech school.  Kyle enjoys rodeo as well as raising sheep.

Tyler Kroupa


Agland Coop welcomes Tyler Kroupa to its Agronomy Team effective Monday Feb. 19th.

Tyler grew up on a farm by Kimball, SD.

  He is a 2010 graduate of  SDSU with a degree in Agricultural Economics and a Minor in Ag Marketing.

He has worked for North Central Farmers Elevator, Kroupa Genetics, Yield Pro and most recently Pinnacle Ag near Gettysburg, SD.

He will be based out of the A&D plant near Delmont.


Tyler’s Hobbies include fishing and the Denver Broncos.
